Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Jenica Of All Trades, LLC (“JOAT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit this website, submit a form, request services or membership access, join the JOAT network, submit a client note, use the members-only area, or otherwise communicate with us.
This policy applies to information collected through this website. A separate client agreement, vendor agreement, employment document, or other written agreement may contain additional privacy or confidentiality terms.

- Inquiry and project information, such as the type of support requested, household or business context, timing, urgency, budget range, service preferences, travel or event details, and your description of a desired outcome.
- Client-note and testimonial information, such as a service category, written note, attribution preference, permission to publish, and an optional image or screenshot.
- Network, vendor, and professional information, such as business name, service area, experience, rates, availability, credentials, insurance information, social profiles, website links, references, work samples, and uploaded files.
- Membership and account information, such as an approved email address, access status, relationship details, and authentication information managed through our identity provider.

- Marketing preferences, including whether you subscribe to emails or consent to future updates.
Please do not submit highly sensitive information through public website forms. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, Social Security numbers, government identification, medical records, tax forms, banking details, or exact private access instructions unless JOAT specifically requests them through an appropriate secure process.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and identity providers may automatically receive limited technical information, including your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, and security or access logs. The site also uses limited browser storage and essential authentication technologies as described in our Cookie & Similar Technologies Notice.
How we use information
We may use information to:
- Review and respond to inquiries, client notes, membership requests, and network submissions.
- Evaluate fit, scope, timing, availability, pricing, risk, and next steps for possible services or relationships.
- Provide, administer, secure, and improve the website, members-only access, and related services.
- Communicate with you about a request, account, project, application, referral, collaboration, or support issue.
- Send marketing emails when you have subscribed or otherwise provided appropriate consent, and honor unsubscribe requests.
- Verify submissions, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain records, enforce agreements, and protect JOAT, clients, users, and others.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
- Publish a client note or testimonial only in accordance with the permission and attribution choice provided with that submission.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and business, including providers of website hosting, form processing, identity and account management, email, file storage, security, customer support, and professional services. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by their own terms and applicable law.
We may also disclose information to professional advisors; to law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or legal interests; and in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.
JOAT does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
Website providers and external services
The site is hosted through Netlify and uses Netlify services for form submissions and, where enabled, member identity and authentication. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and links to third-party websites and services, including social media, scheduling, affiliate, shopping, and portfolio websites. Third parties process information under their own privacy policies, and JOAT does not control their practices.
Ask JOAT is a website-based informational assistant. Its recent conversation history is stored temporarily in your browser session so the feature can function while you browse. Do not use it to transmit confidential or highly sensitive information.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, to manage a potential or active relationship, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and protect against fraud or misuse. Retention periods vary by the type of information and relationship.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No website, transmission, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing support@jenicaofalltrades.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law.
Rights we honor for everyone
We extend the following to every person who contacts us, wherever you live, and whether or not a privacy law requires it of us. You do not need to tell us which law applies to you, cite a statute, or explain why you are asking:
- Know and access. Ask what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, why we have it, and who we have shared it with, and receive a copy of it.
- Correct. Have inaccurate or out-of-date information about you fixed.
- Delete. Have your information deleted, except where we are required to keep it by law or need it to resolve a dispute, complete work you have asked for, enforce an agreement, or protect against fraud. If we keep something for one of those reasons, we will tell you what and why.
- Withdraw consent and opt out. Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time, and tell us to stop contacting you by phone or text. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary messages about work already in progress.
- Object and ask a human. Object to a use of your information and have a person — not an automated process — review your request.
- No retaliation. Exercising any of these does not affect the price, quality, or availability of anything JOAT offers you.
How to ask, and how fast we respond. Email support@jenicaofalltrades.com with the word “Privacy” in the subject. We acknowledge requests within 10 calendar days and aim to complete them within 45 calendar days. If a request is genuinely complex we may take up to a further 45 days, and we will tell you before doing so. There is no charge. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will only ask for what is needed to do that. If we cannot fulfill a request in whole or in part, we will explain why in writing rather than simply declining.
Authorized agents may submit a request on someone else’s behalf. Please identify the person you represent and provide evidence of your authority to act for them.
Depending on where you live, a privacy law may also give you rights beyond the list above, or require us to handle a request differently. Nothing in this section limits or waives any right you have under a law that applies to you, and where a law gives you more than we offer here, the law governs.
Do Not Track and browser signals
Because there is not a universally accepted standard for responding to “Do Not Track” signals, the website does not currently respond to them in a uniform way. JOAT does not currently use advertising technology to track visitors across unrelated websites for targeted advertising.
Children
This website is intended for adults seeking business or household services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the public website. Adults should not submit a child’s sensitive information unless it is necessary for an appropriate request and shared through a suitable process.
International visitors
JOAT is based in Texas, United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the website, services, providers, or legal obligations. The effective and last-updated dates at the top show when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by other appropriate means.
